Our First Week

The children have had a great first week at school.  

We began learning our letter sounds, we have looked at s and a, we will continue with a next week.  

Today we made afghans to help us remember the a sound and as part of Golden Time we invited the class teddies to a picnic on the field. 

In maths we are working on our numbers up to 10, knowing which number comes before a number and which number comes after.
The children are settled and ready to get on with some learning.
